The Home Health for Special Pets Foundation is a 501 c-3 organization that focuses on shelter pets that are elderly, post surgical, and chronically ill. We are concerned with increasing the adoptions of these lovable pets and educating potential adopters of the aftercare of these physically challenged pets.
Home Health for Special Pets is an animal shelter aftercare program that focuses on the problem of overpopulated shelters and increased relinquishments of pets by providing a home health service for those that adopt an elderly, chronically ill or newly diagnosed pet from a shelter at a low cost.
Our goal is to bring awareness and promote adoptions of the physically challenged pets that would otherwise be euthanized.
